About

About

Coombe End Manor is a romantic country house retreat with monastic roots dating back to the 15th century. Approached via a sweeping tree-lined avenue and overlooking mature woodland, the manor has been meticulously renovated to exacting standards while preserving its historic architecture and atmosphere.

Inside

The house offers six reception rooms, providing generous and flexible entertaining space. A large sitting room and an elegant first-floor drawing room create refined areas for conversation and relaxation, while the medieval-style banquet hall seats up to twenty for formal dinners and celebratory gatherings. A dedicated club room and pool table add a more informal, sociable dimension.
Accommodation spans eleven bedrooms plus a single nanny bedroom, supported by nine bathrooms. Interiors balance period detail with contemporary comfort, ensuring privacy and ease for larger groups.
The manor operates as a fully serviced private residence. Rental includes a dedicated concierge to manage pre-arrival arrangements and transport, a full-time house manager, daily housekeeping with two housekeepers, and up to 50 hours of private chef service per week (7:30am–11pm). Menus are bespoke, based on guest preferences and seasonal local produce, with food and beverage charged separately.

Outside

Set within 2,000 acres of private estate in the Cotswold Hills, the grounds offer both seclusion and scale. The gardens were designed by Gertrude Jekyll, with architectural contributions including a porch by Sir Edwin Lutyens, reflecting the estate’s historic significance.
Leisure facilities include an outdoor swimming pool heated year-round, a pool house and spa, sauna, plunge pool and gym. The surrounding parkland and woodland provide privacy and a natural backdrop ideal for events, photography and extended stays.
