About
About
Congrove Barns comprises a pair of beautifully converted barns designed as a private and romantic countryside escape, yet positioned within easy reach of Bath’s historic streets and cultural landmarks. South-facing and set into a hidden valley, the property offers both tranquillity and convenience.
Inside
The barns are thoughtfully divided by function. The living barn houses a generous open-plan sitting and dining room, centred around a wood-burning stove for cosy evenings. The fully equipped kitchen provides everything needed for relaxed self-catering, and the dining table comfortably seats six.
Adjoining this space is a games and television room with table football and a Conran sofa-bed, which can convert into a single or double (available on request, suitable for two children or one adult). A shower room is also located off this area.
The sleeping barn contains two en-suite bedrooms: a king-size bedroom with en-suite bathroom and twin basins, and a zip-and-link king bedroom with en-suite shower room, offering flexibility for couples or friends travelling together.
Outside
The gardens are gated and fenced, providing privacy and security. An in-ground hot tub sits within the grounds, while croquet and badminton are available for outdoor play. The setting is south-facing and overlooks a private arboretum within the valley, creating a rare sense of seclusion.
The barns are designed for year-round use — equally inviting in summer sunshine or on winter evenings gathered by the fire.
