About the space

Inside

The house combines heritage character with understated comfort. A panelled dining room and three generous reception rooms provide elegant yet welcoming spaces for gathering, dining and conversation. There are eight bedrooms in total: five principal bedroom suites and three secondary bedrooms, offering flexibility for families or groups. Interiors reflect the spirit of the Arts and Crafts era, while modern comforts ensure a relaxed stay. Interior photography is shared privately on request in order to respect the owners’ privacy. Stays are fully catered by a residential private chef, with menus shaped by seasonal produce from the estate’s organic kitchen garden and orchard. Estate honey, flowers and field-to-fork ingredients form part of the experience.

Outside

The grounds are central to the stay. Designed landscapes unfold into meadows, woodland paths and quiet waterside corners. A small boating lake, cricket pitch and tree houses create space for both activity and retreat. Guests have access to a seasonal heated outdoor pool, tennis court, squash court, gym and wellness suite. Fishing and other estate activities can be arranged. The estate also hosts botanical and meditative retreats, with optional programmes including massage therapy, yoga, pilates, fitness training, guided meditation and holistic health consultations.
