Private Linocut Printing Workshop

Overview

Carve, ink and print your own lino design at your stay

I run relaxed linocut printmaking workshops, and I can bring the whole thing to you. Linocut is the easiest form of printmaking to set up in a home, so we can work around a kitchen table. I take you through the fundamentals - planning a design, carving the lino, inking up and printing - so you leave with your own original prints. It suits complete beginners as well as anyone wanting to refresh their skills, and I supply everything we need for the session.

About me

I am a printmaker based in Gloucestershire. I trained and worked as a furnishing-fabric designer before moving into a more handcrafted way of making prints. I now run workshops sharing my love of collagraph and linocut printmaking. The printmaking process opens up people's creativity, and I enjoy teaching in a relaxed, easy to follow way.

What I'm known for

Fun, easy to follow printmaking workshops where beginners leave with original prints they have made themselves.

My background and experience

I began my career as a furnishing-fabric designer in London before moving to Gloucestershire and beginning my journey into collagraph and linocut printmaking. I now exhibit my work throughout the country and run one-day workshops. My sessions are designed to be enjoyable for both beginners and for those wanting to refresh their skills, and I provide all the materials.

The Cotswolds

A small region, generously uncovered: stone cottages, long lunches, wild swims, private chefs. Stay a while. Do something worth the journey.
