About these terms
These are the terms and conditions on which Boon Ltd ("Boon", "we", "us") provides the boon.club marketplace and related services. By using boon.club, making an enquiry or completing a booking, you agree to these terms.
These terms apply to guests using Boon to discover and book stays or experiences. Separate Provider Terms apply to property owners and experience providers who list with Boon.
How Boon works
Boon is an introduction platform. We bring together carefully selected Cotswolds properties and experience providers, and we make it easy for guests to discover and book them.
When you book a property or experience through Boon, the contract for the stay or experience is between you and the property owner or experience provider ("Host"). Boon is not a party to that contract — we facilitate the introduction, payment and ongoing communication.
Bookings, payments and cancellations
Bookings are confirmed only after you have received written confirmation from Boon. Until then, prices, availability and inclusions are indicative only.
Payment is processed by our payment partner Stripe. Where a deposit is required, you'll be told the amount and due date at the time of booking. Full payment is due in line with the booking terms shown to you before you confirm the booking.
Cancellation terms vary per property and experience and are shown to you before booking. Where the Host's terms allow free cancellation, we'll honour that promptly. Where they don't, the Host's published policy applies.
Your responsibilities as a guest
You agree to treat the property and any equipment with reasonable care, to respect any house rules shared with you, and to leave the property in a tidy condition. The lead booker is responsible for the conduct of their party.
Where an experience involves an element of physical risk (cooking, riding, watersports, etc.) you confirm that you and your party are physically able to take part and will follow any safety instructions given by the experience provider.
Damage and disputes
Hosts may charge for damage caused beyond normal wear and tear. We'll act fairly to mediate any dispute between you and the Host, but the responsibility for accidental damage caused by your party rests with you.
If something goes wrong during your stay, please tell the Host first so they have the chance to put it right. Contact Boon as soon as practical if the issue isn't resolved — we keep records of every booking and can help.
Liability
Boon is not liable for the acts or omissions of Hosts, nor for any loss arising out of the stay or experience itself, except where required by law. Hosts carry their own appropriate insurance for the activities they offer.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
Privacy
We handle personal information in line with our Privacy Policy, available at /privacy-policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown on boon.club at the time of your booking is the version that applies to that booking.
