About

About

Temple Guiting Manor and Barn sit at the centre of the picturesque Gloucestershire village of Temple Guiting, forming the heart of a private Cotswold estate. This pairing brings together architectural heritage and modern comfort, creating a setting suited to extended family stays, celebrations and corporate retreats.

Inside

The Grade I listed Manor dates from the 15th century and has been thoughtfully renovated, most recently in 2019 with new bathrooms, ensuring contemporary standards while preserving its historic character. The principal five-bedroom layout includes a sixth twin bedroom positioned between bedrooms four and five, providing additional flexibility. Reception rooms retain their Tudor proportions, and the formal vaulted dining room comfortably seats up to 32 guests — ideal for celebratory dinners and events.
Twinned with the Manor is the more contemporary Barn, offering six en-suite bedrooms and generous living space in a modern Cotswold style. The combination provides 11 bedrooms in total, accommodating up to 24 guests across the two buildings while maintaining privacy and space for all.
Sir Nikolaus Pevsner described Temple Guiting Manor as “one of the finest, if not the very best of the small Cotswold Tudor Houses,” underlining its architectural significance.
