Epsom Cottage has its own large garden with a mature walnut tree and a paved terrace beneath a vine-covered pergola — a sheltered spot for outdoor dining or quiet afternoons. Beyond the private garden lie four acres of award-winning landscaped grounds bordered by the River Evenlode.

Guests have shared access to Bruern’s spa facilities, including an indoor heated swimming pool, gym and treatment rooms, along with a tennis court, games room and extensive children’s play areas.

The heart of the cottage is a generous 19-foot square drawing and dining room, filled with light from windows on three sides and centred around an open fire. The atmosphere is classic country house — relaxed, warm and thoughtfully furnished.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, making family meals easy and informal. Upstairs, the master bedroom features an antique queen-size four-poster bed and an en-suite shower room. A twin bedroom and a charming single bedroom with its own four-poster bed and washstand complete the accommodation, making the cottage ideal for families.
