Stancombe Park Farmhouse was once the heart of the working estate and remains its most substantial and characterful home. Quintessentially Cotswold in appearance, it blends period architecture with thoughtful restoration, creating large, elegant living spaces designed for comfort and conviviality.

Inside

The ground floor is arranged around three principal rooms. A generous drawing room with wood-burning stove provides a welcoming focal point for evenings together, while the formal dining room seats up to fourteen for celebratory meals.
The kitchen–breakfast room retains its original flagstone floors and is fully equipped for entertaining, including a double Rangemaster oven. A breakfast table for eight sits beside French doors that open onto a patio — ideal for relaxed outdoor breakfasts.
Upstairs, six en-suite bedrooms are arranged across two floors. On the first floor are three large super-king bedrooms, each with both bath and shower. The second floor features three further vaulted bedrooms: two super-king/twin rooms with showers and one king-size room with a bath. All bedrooms are dressed in 100% Egyptian cotton bed linen, with down duvets, feather pillows and pocket-sprung mattresses. Bathrooms are stocked with Egyptian cotton towels and Rituals toiletries.

Outside

To the front, a large courtyard provides an elegant entrance; to the rear, an expansive lawn overlooks the surrounding estate. Guests are invited to roam the wider Stancombe Park estate, excluding the gardens of other rented properties and the grounds immediately surrounding the owner’s private residence.
A range of on-estate activities and experiences can be arranged, enhancing the sense of a private country retreat.

Guests are welcomed with a Stancombe Park hamper including Champagne, smoked salmon and a selection of locally sourced produce.
