About

About

The Hewletts is a beautifully presented Georgian country house of architectural importance, constructed principally in the mid-18th century with earlier origins. Positioned high on Aggs Hill to the east of Cheltenham, the house enjoys a commanding outlook across its own landscaped grounds and towards the elegant Regency town beyond.

Inside

The interiors reflect the symmetry and proportion of Palladian design, with formal reception rooms arranged for both entertaining and relaxed family living. A gracious drawing room, separate sitting room and formal dining room provide space for gatherings, while the kitchen breakfast room connects seamlessly to a light-filled Orangery, creating an informal heart of the house.
A dedicated games room and newly introduced cinema room add contemporary leisure space to the period setting. All six bedrooms are located within the main house, maintaining a cohesive layout for guests.
For additional flexibility, a self-contained Coach House flat may be available by arrangement as a chargeable optional extra, ideal for extended family or staff.
The Hewletts remains a private family home and is offered only during select holiday periods, preserving its sense of exclusivity and care.

Outside

The house sits within its own parkland grounds, approached via a long, sweeping private drive that enhances both privacy and arrival. Its elevated position provides panoramic views over Cheltenham and the surrounding countryside, with lawns and mature trees framing the setting.
