About

About

Pride of place on Telegraph Luxury Travel as a Cotswold ‘destination’, The Old Rectory Broadway is a beautifully proportioned Victorian home set beside 13th-century St Mary’s Church on the eastern edge of Aston Somerville, just four miles from Broadway.

Inside

The house offers a graceful balance of period character and comfortable family living. A formal drawing room, relaxed sitting room and light-filled garden room provide multiple spaces for gathering or quiet retreat. The dining room centres around an antique billiard dining table, creating a distinctive setting for long, celebratory meals.
The Chalon kitchen breakfast room is well equipped for entertaining, with ample preparation space and room for informal dining.
Upstairs in the main house are four bedrooms and three bathrooms, arranged for families or groups of friends. The garden room snug area includes a double sofa bed, offering additional flexibility. The Little Barn provides a separate en-suite double bedroom, ideal for guests seeking privacy or for multigenerational stays.

Outside

Set within five acres, the gardens are peaceful and expansive, with uninterrupted views towards the Cotswold Escarpment and Broadway Tower. There are numerous terraces and lawns for outdoor dining and socialising, alongside a seasonal heated swimming pool (May to September), hot tub and all-weather tennis court.
A ha-ha protects the main lawn, making it an ideal setting for a marquee, while surrounding paddocks provide ample space for guest parking during small weddings or events. Please note there is an unfenced natural pond within the grounds.
