About
About
Tysoe Manor is a substantial Grade II\* listed estate with origins around 1300, retaining mediaeval windows, oak-studded doors, original fireplaces, and historic staircases. Set within 11 private acres on the edge of Tysoe, it is sheltered from the village and surrounded by beautifully planned gardens to the south and west, with open grassland and specimen trees to the north and east. Over the last three years, the owners have completed a comprehensive restoration: a new kitchen wing, new heating and hot-water systems, all new bathrooms, full rewiring, and the unusual addition of air-conditioning to all East Wing bedrooms.
Inside
The manor spans ten bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The master suite is air-conditioned and includes a large bedroom, dressing room, and a bathroom with steam shower. Five further bedrooms also feature air-conditioning. One ground-floor en-suite room offers step-free access. Additional rooms include a large kitchen–breakfast room, sitting room with fire, drawing room, library, formal and informal dining rooms, a television room, billiard room, upstairs sitting room with TV area, a large study/sitting room, a further study, a gym, and a boot room. The layout reflects the evolving structure of the house across the centuries, giving the interior character and scale.
Outside
The estate covers 11 acres of private grounds, with terraces for breakfast and outdoor dining, a first-floor roof terrace, a newly restored pool and pool house, and a tennis court. Gardens wrap around the manor, with lawns, mature trees, and broad views. The setting is quiet and private, offering both formal landscaped areas and natural stretches of grassland.

The manor sits on the edge of Tysoe, close to the South Warwickshire/North Cotswolds border. Nearby landmarks include the historic Compton Wynyates estate, linked to the Compton family who once owned Tysoe Manor. The wider area is rich with walks, classic villages, market towns, and routes into both the Cotswolds and Stratford-upon-Avon.
