Lechlade House offers modern country living behind a period façade, surrounded by three acres of private gardens and only a short walk from the centre of Lechlade-on-Thames. The house is newly built to provide traditional comfort with contemporary ease, with generous, interconnected living spaces and a standout indoor pool suite. Excellent pubs, restaurants, and local favourites — including Cotswold Wildlife Park, The Double Red Duke and The Bell at Langford — are all close by.
About the House
The drawing room, library, games room, and large kitchen–dining room all connect and open onto a south-west facing wraparound terrace. The kitchen is newly installed and well equipped: dishwasher, Fisher & Paykel fridge-freezer, Aga, microwave, Quooker boiling-water tap, double sink, Nespresso machine, and ample cookware. A washroom/utility off the kitchen includes a washing machine, tumble dryer, a second dishwasher, and an additional sink.
About the Grounds
The three-acre garden is set up for relaxed outdoor living, with two dining tables (round and rectangular), benches, sofas, egg chairs, and a barbecue. There is space for children to roam and dedicated areas for play, including moveable football goals and a 14ft in-ground trampoline.
The Experience
The indoor pool suite is a major draw: a 40' x 20' heated pool, built-in jacuzzi, changing room with toilet, and a steam shower room. The games room includes table tennis, a pool table, table football, mini air hockey, an electric piano, a television, and board games. Across the house, entertainment includes multiple large-screen TVs with Sky, Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, Freeview, a DVD player, and several Amazon Alexas.
